Grace Bevelheimer is an artist from Pennsylvania working primarily in analog photography and mixed-media. With these mediums she creates and reconstructs images to provide a more profound meaning for the viewer to consider. Throughout her body of work Grace uses a soul-baring approach to portray key aspects of her past and present existence. In what she considers an intimate and therapeutic process, she is able to delve into themes of happiness, love, loss, lust and aloneness.

“I want people to feel like they know me when they look at the images I’ve made. Looking at my work should feel like opening my heart and my soul, coming all the way in and taking a look around. That is the goal.”

Grace currently lives in the woods in central Vermont and continues to explore important aspects of the natural world and human condition through art-making and creative writing.
